They engaged in discussions on a series of key topics with representatives from the EWCF Esports World Cup Foundation, the Qiddiya New City Project, local Saudi clubs, and globally renowned clubs.
Facing challenges in the global esports industry such as cultural differences, the relationship between sports and competition, organizational operation models, and industrial structure changes, all parties reviewed the achievements of the 2024 Esports World Cup. They delved into advanced experiences and innovative thinking in tournament organization and club operations across various countries and regions.
With the themed of "Sharing Experiences and Future Plans of EWC Events," representatives from overseas clubs like G2 and Team Falcons under the EWCF Esports World Cup Foundation engaged in a lively discussion with representatives of top domestic clubs including AG, BLG, EDG, Wolves Esports, LGD Gaming, NIP, NOVA Esports, RW, TES, Tianba Esports, and WBG, as well as relevant officials of the Tencent Esports team.They also visited the competition venues, IP exhibition areas, club-themed venues, and esports-themed entertainment activities at Boulevard City, the location of the EWC Esports World Cup , to experience the enthusiasm and potential of the region.
The next day, Tencent Esports led Chinese esports ecosystem partners and representatives from internationally renowned clubs such as Fnatic、Gen.G, and Team Liquid, as well as esports associations from various countries and regions, in in-depth discussions on the topic of "International Esports Ecosystem Exchange." upholding the vision and ambition of "Esports Connecting the World," Tencent E-sports, along with Chinese esports clubs and ecosystem partners, visited the Saudi National Museum and Diriyah, the UNESCO World Heritage site and birthplace of Saudi culture in Riyadh. This exchange aims to play a crucial role in promoting esports culture to achieve its goals.
